El grupo pasó a llamarse Badfinger (inspirado en el título preliminar de la canción « With a Little Help from My Friends » de The Beatles, «Bad finger boogie») y contó con Joey Molland como reemplazante de Griffiths. Con Molland ingresa un guitarrista y cantante bien rudo en la banda, lo que servirá para que Badfinger encuentre nuevos sonidos.
Badfinger were a Welsh rock band formed in 1961 in Swansea, Wales. Their best-known lineup consisted of Pete Ham (guitar), Mike Gibbins (drums), Tom Evans (bass), and Joey Molland (guitar). They are recognised for their influence on the 1970s power pop genre.
