27 de ago. de 2022 · The British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS) jeopardy score ranges from 0 to 12, with higher scores indicating greater extent of disease.
The jeopardy score is a simple method for estimating the amount of myocardium at risk on the basis of the particular location of coronary artery stenoses. In patients with a previous myocardial infarction, higher jeopardy scores were associated with a lower left ventricular ejection fraction.
Based on CMR, 65% had an ischemic etiology and 35% were non-ischemic. A BCIS jeopardy score threshold ≥6 had 76% sensitivity and 97% specificity. In HFrEF, the extent of coronary disease on angiography can be used to rule in or out an ischemic etiology.
This issue might influence the results, although the REVIVED-BCIS2 population was phenotyped with advanced cardiac imaging during viability testing and a threshold British Cardiovascular Intervention Society jeopardy score that is highly specific for ischemic left ventricular dysfunction. 21
