It is located across the street from Golden Gate Park. Originally released in 1987 as a double LP containing 25 tracks, 2400 Fulton Street is a compilation album of music by Jefferson Airplane named after this iconic location.
This is THE Jefferson Airplane House. Actually it is a rather beautiful building on that side of Fulton Street and looks to be well restored on the outside (the other side of Fulton is a rather large park!). Because of my own history this was a must see and therefore deserves 5 Stars. Read more.

Though it is now a quiet, residential home, The Mansion was legendary for its wild parties with band members, groupies and fans alike.
This tour includes landmarks of cultural history, including the homes of legendary musicians who lived in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood during the 1960s. For a time in the late 1960s, the rock band Jefferson Airplane owned the mansion at 2400 Fulton Street, overlooking Golden Gate Park.
