They weren't released only on the Japanese special edition, but were originally the Man on the Edge single B-sides. Man on the Edge was released as three different versions (CD 1&2 + 12" picture vinyl) and they were the B-sides. So they're not bonus tracks per se, but B-sides, used as bonus tracks on the Japanese 2CD pressing.
