i figured it out because i had a bad shortcut... make sure that your shortcut does not bypass steam when launching, could also be that in the folder cfg in L4D2. there is a folder named insecure. delete it if you find insecure there.
Por favor remueva ''Insecure'' de las opciones de lanzamiento antes de intentar conectarse a un servidor seguro. Solo tienes que ir a las opciones de lanzamiento del juego y quitar el comando que te dice, luego de eso guardar los cambios y todo debería de andar correctamente. Suerte y saludos.
Receiving a pop-up message that says I have "-insecure" in my launch options. I see this every time I launch Left 4 Dead 2, is there any way to fix this? Where can I edit the launch options, since I'm not running through Steam. UPDATE: Create a shortcut of the left4dead2.exe (desktop for example) Right click the shortcut -> Properties.
