I hadn't seen the first one and had never really heard of the Blade Runner but i was a big fan of Denis Villeneuve because of Arrival and decided to just watch this movie one day. I think it's the most beautiful movie I've ever watched. On top of that the story and world were amazing.
I was a big fan of the first movie as well, which is why I wasn't expecting this movie to be faster paced. In fact I really appreciated that it was slower, way too many movies are become action packed, this was a great change of pace.
