trying to use a serial cable and HyperTerminal: I guess it also would be very slow, possibly even more so than floppies removing the IDE "hard drive" (which I actually replaced with a 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD inside an IDE enclosure) and connecting it to my newer PCs using some USB adapter: I'd rather not have to stop the system and do all that every time I want to transfer a few files…

Hace 4 días · You can test the drivers and hulog/hondalog by shorting the TX and RX pins. The device may need 5V power from the ECU, that I´m not sure about. Start up any old terminal program (hyperterminal?) and anything you type should be echo´d back on your screen. If this works, your hulog/hondalog is working. /Allan
