I think the other reason I laugh so hard at it is it's such shocking imagery for a network comedy. Like, here is a very clear drawing of a man with a gun in his mouth! But played for laughs! I'm honestly kinda surprised that it was ok with the censors

The tattoo reveal and the gestures of shooting into his mouth - “click, poooofffff”, for me, this is the funniest scene through the whole series.

He made the interesting choice to have a portrait of his own face done on his upper arm, the goal being to depict himself blowing the smoke off the barrel of a recently first gun.
