Hichem Rostom (26 May 1947 – 28 June 2022) was a Tunisian actor. He appeared in more than 70 films and television shows since 1987. He starred in Golden Horseshoes, which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1989 Cannes Film Festival. He also directed the Carthage Theatre Festival for two sessions.
Hichem Rostom (arabe : هشام رستم), né le 26 mai 1947 à La Marsa et mort le 28 juin 2022, est un acteur tunisien. Il a joué dans divers films tunisiens et étrangers mais aussi des rôles dans des documentaires et des téléfilms. Il a notamment tenu le premier rôle dans le film Essaïda.
Hichem Rostom was born on 26 May 1947 in Tunis, Tunisia. He was an actor, known for The English Patient (1996), The Count of Monte Cristo (1998) and W pustyni i w puszczy (2001). He died on 28 June 2022 in Tunisia.

Rostom, seen as the most influential Tunisian actor of his generation, had started his career during his studies in France, where he worked as a presenter at the People’s National Theatre.
