Daffy first appeared when Gizmo got wet and then he multiplied. He uncurled about shortly after George and Lenny. Unlike the other mogwai, he did not attack Gizmo and instead played around along with ruining Billy's painting.
Mohawk was the third Mogwai to be spawned by Gizmo, with the first and second being George and Lenny. When he was spawned from Gizmo, he landed in a nearby trashcan and was the last of the Mogwai to unfold himself.
In the novel, Lenny and George continue to torture Gizmo after Mohawk zaps Gizmo with a cable. In the novel, Lenny takes the place of Daffy in the kitchen scene. George takes Lenny's place and is seen wearing the chef's hat and apron.
Gremlins 2: The New Batch is a 1990 American comedy horror film, and the sequel to the 1984 film Gremlins. It was directed by Joe Dante and written by Charles S. Haas, with creature designs by Rick Baker.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch is the 1990 sequel to Gremlins, again directed by Joe Dante. Gizmo is still living in Mr. Wing's old shop in Chinatown, New York when his keeper dies. The place is immediately demolished by the local Clamp corporation and Gizmo captured by a pair of scientists who operate out of the Clamp skyscraper.
