On 20 February 1973 the band appeared on BBC's The Old Grey Whistle Test playing two numbers - "Pilgrims Progress" and "Bedside Manners Are Extra", both from the album Bedside Manners Are Extra. Greenslade's third album, Spyglass Guest was their most commercially successful, reaching number 34 in the UK Albums Chart.
In 1973 Greenslade released their well praised eponymous debut album, followed by Bedside Manners Are Extra (1973), Spyless Guest (1974) and finally Time And Tide (1975). Then the band call it a day and Dave Greenslade went solo, but in 1994 he re-joined Colosseum with their acclaimed reunion tour.
