28 de oct. de 2022 · VIDEO: Grace Jones “Love Is The Drug” Grace did, however, perform “Love Is the Drug,” her anxious, fast-paced cover of the immortal Roxy Music side. If anything, her live version was even better, and not just better than the recorded version, but better than Roxy Music’s lackluster take on their original in Chicago.
Arguably her best loved song, on this opening night of her curated Meltdown Festival. Includes band introductions at end

Clearly, Jones’s chameleon-like qualities are a key part of her appeal.

23 de jul. de 2021 · The closing title track was a surprising throwback to the Gospel of Grace Jones’ childhood, complete with massed choral vocals. What I heard all these years later was a little more interesting than I was expecting up front. All of the songs here were written by Bruce Woolley [“Slave To The Rhythm”] and Ms. Jones.

Still, she continues to grace us with her presence on the world’s biggest runways and magazine covers like Paper’s 2015 September Issue and Tommy Hilfiger and Zendaya’s collaboration runway show in Spring 2019.
