Gore Verbinski (Tennessee, Estados Unidos, 1964) proviene de una familia numerosa, en la que es el tercero de cinco hermanos. Su padre, de ascendencia polaca, trabajaba como físico nuclear en el laboratorio de Oak Ridge, ciudad en la que nació Gore. Fue guitarrista de varios grupos punk, como “The Daredevils” y “The Little Kings”.
