We were all in different bands and used to rehearse at the Jewish Lads’ Brigade, a club in north Manchester, in the early 60s. I was with a band called The Whirlwinds and I wanted to make them more rocky; I’d heard Kevin play and I thought he was a fantastic drummer, so I recruited him.

10 de may. de 2024 · Fun fact, Godley & Creme invented their own analog synthesizer-type guitar attachment called The Gizmo, which was a large box that you strapped onto a guitar neck to produce novel sounds. They made a double album to showcase it called Consequences.
4 de may. de 2024 · The music video for “Two Tribes” is also heavily inspired by the Cold War. Directed by Godley and Creme, the video features then-Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and US President Ronald Reagan in a wrestling ring, fighting each other as nuclear bombs explode around them.
