Hace 3 días · The Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (B.T.A.S.), offered on all five regional campuses and through OHIO Online, is primarily intended for students who have already completed two years or earned 60 credits from an accredited community college, accredited regional campus/university, or an accredited technical college and who wish to pursue a baccalaureate degree.

Hayes, the Ohio State University was founded in 1870 as a land-grant university under the Morrill Act of 1862 as the Ohio Agricultural and Mechanical College. The university opened its doors to 24 students on September 17, 1873. In 1878, the first class of six men graduated.
The Russ College of Engineering and Technology was originally founded in 1935 as the College of Applied Sciences, but its origins date back to the earliest history of Ohio University; records show that surveying was among the first courses offered. The first engineering degree was granted in 1902.
