The walk starts (or ends, depending on the direction you choose to walk it) at the Boston Common and ends (or starts) at the USS Constitution and Bunker Hill. Along the walk, you will visit historic churches, meeting halls, cemeteries, and battlegrounds.

The Freedom Trail is a unique collection of museums, churches, meeting houses, burying grounds, parks, ... Starting May 4 Saturdays 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm Sundays ... It was a nice 1.5 hr walking tour hitting most of the south end Freedom Trail points of interest. For the money, it’s hard to beat!

The Freedom Trail starts at Boston Common. Word to the wise, it’s not the Boston Commons. This 44-acre park was the first city park in America dating back to 1634. A large parking garage and a stop on the metro line make it a logistically convenient start to the Freedom Trail.
