Salamence is better than Flygon in most ways. It's viable as both a physical or special attacker, and has better stats being a pseudo-legendary and all. Note that both are 4x weak to ice-type moves etc.

8 de ago. de 2010 · Flygon can be more useful because it has a better movepool, but Salamence is more powerful and would win in a battle. I personally like Flygon better, though, because of its awesome design.
5 de jul. de 2006 · Salamence beats Flygon at HP, Attack, and Sp. Attack, while the pair stay equal in Defense, Sp. Defense, and Speed. To answer WingedAsian 's question, if your looking for a stronger Pokémon, then Salamence is the way to go. Salamence has a higher Attack and a higher Special Attack. Flygon is still good too...

salamence exceeds in everyway in comparison to its brother Flygon sadly, i think flygons design is more unique being this bug dragon type of monster while salamence is just your typical dragon. Salamence. But Trapinch is easier to obtain early in the game, Trapinch line is used most in the main game. Flygon is cuter.
