The new Japanese import SACD of Public Image Ltd's THE FLOWERS OF ROMANCE has restored my faith in the format absolutely. This is the best sounding SACD I've heard since the Can discography. For this technology to hit its fullest potential, it requires music with a certain amount of space, music that uses silences - and, with the exception of the closing track, this album delivers that in spades.
