The university's name was changed to Finch University of Health Sciences in 1993, and in 2004 to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. The university acquired the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (coincidentally also founded in 1912) in 2001 and opened a College of Pharmacy in 2011.
