Sergio Pablos ( Madrid, 1970) 1 es un animador y guionista español conocido fundamentalmente por ser el creador de películas como Despicable Me (titulada Gru: mi villano favorito en España y Mi villano favorito en Hispanoamérica) para Universal Pictures y Smallfoot producida por Warner Animation Group.
Evil & Me is a 2008 American-French computer-animated short film from Illumination Entertainment. It was directed by Sergio Pablos, story and written by Michael Wildshill and Sergio Pablos and produced by Chris Meledandri.
After several more years working in animation production, Pablos created the Despicable Me franchise based on his original screen story Evil Me and his own art design. He took the package unsolicited to Universal Pictures where he became the first of several screenwriters on the project as well as executive producer.
