maybe "out there" or random but was one of my favorites from way back in high school and in the vibe of dark/mysterious piano, Busoni's Elegy no.3. did you listen to Satie's other gnossiennes? I like nos. 2, 3, and 4, especially no.4 & maybe heavy handed but I've always had a soft spot for Rachmaninoff's Elegy op.3 no.1
