Ed Begley Jr. es un actor norteamericano nacido en Los Angeles, California, el 16 de septiembre de 1949. Hijo de los actores Juana Allene Sanders y el ganador del Oscar, Ed Begley, su primera educación la recibió en la Stella Niagara Educación Park.La preparatoria la realizó en California, en tres escuelas distintas (Notre Dame, Sherman Oaks y Los Angeles Valley College).
