Historia. Primeros años. Brian Tatler (guitarrista) y Duncan Scott (batería) comenzaron su proyecto musical en Stourbridge, Inglaterra, en 1976. Brian tenía un póster de un álbum de Phil Manzanera llamado Diamond Head, y pensó que sería un buen nombre para su banda.
Biography. Inspired by his older brother David to learn the guitar at 14, Brian Tatler eventually recruited school friends Duncan Scott, Sean Harris and Colin Kimberly to form Diamond Head in 1976. At the age of just nineteen they became part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, gigging and performing their own material across the country.
Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in Stourbridge, West Midlands, in 1976. They were part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and are acknowledged by bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as a significant early influence.
