However, over the years dream pop has evolved to define dream pop bands as those who use ambient, melodic sounds with breathy vocals to create a wall of noise.

as we all know there are moody and atmospheric shoegaze songs by the tons. but shoegaze BANGERS, well... i put all the songs i could think of sing-shouting in the car to in one playlist - it's a bit wider than just shoegaze per se because it includes some noise pop, nugaze, neo psych etc but I feel like all songs in this playlist share some the same atmosphere.
