Meeting with UNIT scientist Shirley Anne Bingham, the Doctor questions why he resembles his tenth incarnation and why destiny is converging on Donna. Donna's teenage daughter, Rose encounters a furry alien called the Meep and hides it in the shed, but Donna discovers it just as the Doctor arrives at her house.
