Al final de Distrito 9, Christopher (el bicho) le dice a Wikus que para revertir su situación deberán pasar tres años, algo que Wikus no puede aceptar. Aunque finalmente, aceptará su destino y ayudará a Christopher y a su hijo a volver a la nave nodriza para que puedan volver a su planeta.
