The track was taken from their third album, Making Movies. In many ways, this album was a turning point for Dire Straits. Mark Knopfler’s younger brother and founding member, David, had left the band.

I love all the metaphors, but my fav lines are “All I do is kiss you through the bars of a rhyme” and “Juliet, I'd do the stars with you any time”. Especially the last one. How do you interpret it?
