Deathstroke ( Slade Wilson) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez, and debuted in The New Teen Titans #2 (December 1980) as Deathstroke the Terminator .

Deathstroke is Slade Wilson, the world's greatest assassin/mercenary and an enemy of the Teen Titans and the Justice League. Originally a soldier in the U.S. Army, he was part of an experimental super-soldier project where he gained enhanced strength, agility and intelligence.
