I'm predisposed to like Oingo Boingo just because of a weakness for Danny Elfman's voice. For the most part Dead Man's Party justifies my sentimentality - especially on songs like "No One Lives Forever", "Just Another Day" or the title track, they come across like the more playful end of later Talking Heads, or a version of The The's Infected which had greater foresight re: production.
