Ana Clark was a nurse who survived the second outbreak. When the outbreak began, Ana crashed her car while fleeing from zombies and was found by Kenneth, who she went with to the Crossroads Shopping Mall. While the group stayed in the mall, Ana became the group medic and used her training as a nurse to help several people with injuries.

Trama. Ana Clark, una enfermera que vive en la ciudad de Milwaukee, regresa a su casa tras finalizar su turno en el hospital. Sin embargo, en ese mismo instante un virus se propaga por el mundo, el cual reanima a los muertos y los vuelve violentos.
El líder del grupo es el policía Kenneth Hall (Ving Rhames), que junto con otros personajes como la enfermera Ana Clark (Sarah Polley), el vendedor Michael (Jake Weber) o el experto en armas Andy (Bruce Bohne) intenta sobrevivir y escapar de los muertos vivientes.
