The Grand Finale is an incredibly nostalgic piece of orchestral writing, that oozes romanticism, lusciousness and rich textures. The Grand Finale is indeed the climax of love that Kim begins to feel towards Edward.
Edward Scissorhands is the fourth feature film collaboration between director Tim Burton and composer Danny Elfman. The orchestra consisted of 79 musicians. Elfman cites Scissorhands as epitomizing his most personal and favorite work.

He has two daughters, Lola and Mali, from his marriage to Geri Eisenmenger. Mali is a film producer and actress. Elfman and Mali collaborated on her 2011 film Do Not Disturb.
