Damon Albarn (pronunciado /ˈdeɪmən_ˈælbɑrn/; Londres, Inglaterra, 23 de marzo de 1968) es un músico, cantante, compositor y productor de discos británico, líder y letrista principal de Blur y como cofundador, vocalista principal, instrumentista y compositor principal de Gorillaz, Blur y de The Good, the Bad and the Queen.
Damon Albarn is an an English-Icelandic singer and songwriter who gained fame as frontman of rock band Blur, though as of late, Albarn has been more active as a member of Gorillaz, Africa Express, Electric Wave Bureau [1] and as a solo artist.
Gorillaz are an English virtual band created in 1998 by musician Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett, from London. The band primarily consists of four fictional members: 2-D (vocals, keyboards), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums).

Albarn formed the virtual band Gorillaz in 1998 with the comic book artist Jamie Hewlett. Drawing influences from hip hop, dub, pop, [2] trip hop [3] and world music, [4] Gorillaz released their self-titled debut album in 2001 to worldwide success, spawning numerous successful follow-ups and continuing to release albums and tour into the 2020s.
