5 de jul. de 2023 · Ingredients. 1 + 1/3 cup veg shortening. 16 oz cream cheese softened at room temp (2 8oz blocks) 3 tsp clear vanilla extract. 3 tsp clear butter extract. 2 tsp clear almond extract or creme bouquet. (or you can use 1 tsp of both – yum) 3 tbs meringue powder. 1/3 tsp fine popcorn salt (or reg salt)

28 de ene. de 2017 · This Cream Cheese Frosting is not overly sweet and has a great cream cheese flavor thanks to a key ingredient. It is never lumpy and never, ever runny! I perfected this recipe for my cake decorating business. You can imagine a wedding cake with a runny filling would not be a great idea.
11 de ago. de 2016 · Miraculously, this frosting is light yet sturdy and yields that classic cream cheese flavor you’d hope for. It’s not too sweet, but just right. Most importantly, it holds its shape for several days at room temperature. When decorating, it can be smoothed to a crisp, hold romantic swoops, or maintain piped swirls.
26 de feb. de 2018 · This is my family favorite BEST cream cheese frosting recipe! It goes great on Carrot Cake, Red Velvet Cake, and just about any other flavor cake or cupcake you can imagine. I've been making this cream cheese icing for years!
Instructions. Cream the butter, cream cheese and shortening on medium speed until it's creamy, about a minute. Add the the rest of the ingredients beat slowly until combined and then beat the heck out of it for 4-6 minutes until it's fluffy and smooth. You may want to scrape the bowl down halfway through.
