With our proposal for the Children’s Hospital Copenhagen, we bridge the gap between the natural and urban setting and propose a contemporary solution for a hospital for children, adolescents and pregnant women. An innovative hybrid and catalyst of future treatment structures, that greatly adapts to the urban and scenic context. Status: 2nd phase.
The new children’s hospital is expected to be completed in 2024 and will care for up to 900 patients, in addition to the workplace of 1200 doctors, nurses, orderlies and administrative staff. Located on a 17,900m2 plot in the centre of Copenhagen – flanked by “Amorparken” and “Fælledparken”.
