You could help stock grocery items in the Kroger pantry or even prep meals at one of their meal giveaways. Volunteers can register on their website for a multitude of opportunities. Give food. Donations of food from grocers, food distributors, farmers, and the community provide a much-needed supplement to the food we get from government agencies. You can help by donating nonperishable foods and fresh produce.
NNEMAP Food Pantry is a place where caring community members come together to help their neighbors who are in need of a hand up. For over 50 years, NNEMAP has been a valued resource for families in need.
Besa Community Volunteer. Besa allows me to assist various organizations in aiding those in our community who need a helping hand. It's also allowed me to develop my leadership skills and make some great friends with fellow volunteers. Besa provides me with an easy way to give back and ultimately make Columbus a better place to live for everyone.
Our professional team of certified resource specialists coordinate delivery of community services and strengthen food security for 260,000 people each year. We combine best practices, experience and social innovation to provide one of the nation’s leading 2-1-1 services here in central Ohio.
