Children on the Edge is a non-profit charitable organisation dedicated to working on behalf of some of the most marginalised children around the world. The organisation is based in Chichester and was founded by the owner of The Body Shop, Dame Anita Roddick, (DBE) in 1990 following her visit to several Romanian orphanages. [1]
Children on the Edge is a child rights organisation that works with more than 20,000 children in Bangladesh, India, Uganda, Myanmar, and Lebanon, who face poverty, displacement, conflict, and persecution. They create protective environments that generate hope, life, colour, and fun, and support children's rights to flourish and thrive.
