22 de jun. de 2022 · When evaluating the components of cognitive frailty, we found a higher incidence of mortality in older adults with a sedentary behavior, weakness, and exhaustion. Likewise, six out of 10 had disability in BADL or at least one fall in the last year and nine out of 10 had at least one comorbidity.

Nuestro estudio pretende demostrar que, si el individuo es de carácter frágil y presenta criterios de sarcopenia, el riesgo de mortalidad es más alto. OBJETIVO: Determinar la coexistencia de sarcopenia y fragilidad en adultos mayores y su asociación con la mortalidad en el Centro Médico Naval (CEMENA) del Perú.
