Challenge Hill is the mini version of the popular Manitou Incline in nearby Manitou Springs. The 200-step incline provides an intense cardio workout as users climb steep grade stairs, gaining 178 feet in elevation, to the top of the hill.

The Incline at Castle Rock is a 0.6 mile loop hike that begins with a 200 step climb up the Challenge Hill to the top of a promontory. A 1/2 mile trail winds down the side of the mesa back to the bottom. About 30 minutes from Denver, the trail makes for a great workout in the outdoors.
