Hawes, heard in a quartet with vibraphonist Larry Bunker, bassist Clarence Jones and drummer Larence Marable, already ranked as one of the top bop-based pianists in 1952.

Just good inner sleeves should suffice for those who own records for the music that’s on there. I mean, artwork is nice, but some normal signs of wear don’t bother me at all as long as it sounds like new.

Hace 5 días · Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here I was at a funeral yesterday for a friend who’d died suddenly at age 61. He was a Naim user, with an LP12 and active NBL system. For various reasons we hadn’t kept in touch as we should have, but he will be missed. His son played a solo adaptation of the title track from this album on guitar. Poignant and nicely done.
