Hace 6 días · This study was initiated by collecting whitish-colored crust samples from andesite surfaces that were buried and later excavated at the Aigai and Assos archaeological sites (Turkey) (Fig. 2). Excavated andesite samples with whitish crusts were collected by chipping pieces of stone and scraping whitish crusts from the stone surfaces (Table 1 ).
