Bronson Alcott Pinchot (/ ˈ p ɪ n tʃ oʊ /; born May 20, 1959) is an American actor. He is best known for playing Balki Bartokomous on the ABC sitcom Perfect Strangers (1986–1993).
Bronson Pinchot is best known for his roles as Balki Bartokomous on Perfect Strangers and Serge on Beverly Hills Cop. He has also appeared in films like True Romance, The First Wives Club, and Clowning, and on Broadway and TV shows like Putting It Together and The Mysterious Benedict Society.
Unlike the manic bizarrely-turned characters Pinchot often played, on TV talk shows he has proven to be witty and erudite. He first appeared on Broadway in 1990 in 'Zoya's Apartment,' a comedic play at the Circle in the Square theater.
