Born Bonnie Lynn Raitt Nov. 8, 1949, in Burbank, California. Bonnie Raitt's album Nick Of Time brought her commercial success, climbing to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and eventually achieving five-time platinum certification by the RIAA. Raitt won the first GRAMMY Awards of her career for 1989.
