Year 7 New Starters. Welcome to Year 7 at The Blue Coat School. We have an exciting year ahead of us! Over the next twelve months you will be studying a range of fascinating subjects, taught by fantastic teachers, in brilliant buildings that are both historic and brand new.
September 2024 Admissions. The application and admission procedure for 2024 is now closed. The Blue Coat School will admit 180 students to Year 7 in September 2024. Our Open Day for Year 5 students took place on Friday 30 th June.

Many pupils who start in Year 7 develop into fine young musicians and we are extremely proud of the school’s music provision and the achievements of our young people. Any provision will be subject to availability of both tutors and instruments.
