5 de may. de 2016 · Appaloosa coat patterns are modifying patterns, just like gray and true roan; these “modify” the base coat. In all of these cases, the horse has a base color. In the case of an Appaloosa, this can be black, bay, chestnut, dark bay/brown, palomino, dun, black, cremello/perlino, buckskin or grulla.
When a dark body is adorned with white spots or flecks, it is commonly referred to as snowflakes. A snowflake appaloosa will often develop more and more spots and flecks as it grows older, and it is also normal for the size of the spots and flecks to increase.
On August 12th, 2022, the Appaloosa received a full remodel. While the update did add a new coat, being Black Snowflake, it made horses of the previous model as well as all of the old cross-coats completely unobtainable (excluding cross-coats that were on different, non-legacy horses).

9 de dic. de 2019 · This horse doesn't appear anywhere in-game that I know of, so it appears to be a hidden or unused variant. It looks like an inverse Few Spot Appaloosa - black with white spots instead of white with black spots.
In Red Dead Online, the horse Lee commandeers in the mission "Where Your Morals Lead You" is a unique Appaloosa that has a "Black Snowflake" coat. In the game files, the horse has 4 points in speed and acceleration.
