I think the second and most heralded Fairport Convention lineup with Richard Thompson and Sandy Denny is clearly prog. The original Pentangle with John Renbourn, Bert Jansch, and Jacqui McShee is definitely prog. Beyond that, alas, it feels a little more prog-adjacent to me. Not that it matters -- I love Maddy Prior without qualification.
