Bergisch Gladbach (Platt: Jläbbisch) ist eine große kreisangehörige Stadt im Bergischen Land in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Als Kreisstadt ist sie auch Mittelzentrum des Rheinisch-Bergischen Kreises. Im Westen grenzt sie unmittelbar an Köln, im Norden an Leverkusen, beide sind kreisfreie Städte.
