Zoolander è un film del 2001 scritto, diretto e interpretato da Ben Stiller. Il personaggio protagonista della pellicola, il modello Derek Zoolander, è stato ideato da Ben Stiller e Drake Sather in occasione dei VH1 Fashion Awards del 1996 , ed il grande successo riscosso in quell'occasione ha spinto l'attore a costruire un intero film che ne narrasse le gesta [1] .
Stiller was awarded an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program" for his work on The Ben Stiller Show. He has been nominated twelve times for the Teen Choice Awards, and won once, for "Choice Hissy Fit" for his work in Zoolander.
