I know there are a lot of places to order parts but I just submitted my second order with Basil. He is the best...helping/trying to save me money where he can while not compromising the project. That is refreshing. And he is so helpful and knowledgeable.
6 de feb. de 2021 · Basil did not give me a brand name, just a description. Here it is. This is a Polished Stainless Steel Exhaust system for the MGB 1963 to 1980. This is a unique design that offers the most precise fit using flange joints that bolt together instead of the "Push Together and Pray" design.

I've had one of Basil's slick aluminum mono-covers for a couple of years now and just never have installed it, so I decided that now was as good a time as any for the task. The cover had a couple of issues that I had to overcome.

If you stand the spring on a label, unstressed it should measure 9.9" It should also only be a 350 pound spring. GT springs are a little shorter (9.625") but they're a 480 pound spring. Measure the free height of your springs...
25 de sept. de 2008 · As many of you knew and a few of you took advantage of, Basil Adams made some aluminum on piece lifter side cover for the MGB B series motor. Basil made mention that if anyone getting one of these, he would leave up venting it up to the individual.
