As Above, So Below is a 2014 American horror film written and directed by John Erick Dowdle and co-written by his brother Drew. The film stars Perdita Weeks, Ben Feldman, Edwin Hodge, François Civil, Marion Lambert, and Ali Marhyar.
Así en la Tierra como en el Infierno (As Above, So Below, en el original en inglés, y Les Catacombes, en francés) es una película franco-estadounidense de misterio/suspense de 2014. El título hace referencia al segundo verso de la Tabla Esmeralda .
This movie was a complete mindfuck for me. I live in Paris, so for most of the scenes outside of the catacombs I know exactly where they are, and that made this movie that much more real for me. The scene at the end when they escape especially fucked me up, because they popped out just around the corner from where I lived at the time.

It’s not the most straightforward, but with its twist ending, fascinating depiction of Hell, and nods to Dante, it’s a horror film with more to say than most. Like any genre or sub-genre, found footage has its own tropes.
