Aphrodite's Child was a Greek rock and pop band formed in 1967, by Evangelos Papathanassiou, later known professionally as Vangelis, (keyboards, flutes), Demis Roussos (bass, acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Loukas Sideras (drums and vocals), and Silver Koulouris (guitar).

Aphrodite's Child. Greek pop rock psychedelic band, 1967 to 1972. After Vangelis ' Greek 1960s band " The Forminx " broke up, Vangelis, together with singer Demis Roussos and drummer Lucas Sideras left for London to try their success outside of Greece. They got stuck in Paris and formed the band "Aphrodite's Child".
